For something a little less serious there are plenty of activities to satisfy the child in everyone. The extensive areas of forest around the valley provides an excellent playground for a round of paint-ball or a burn about on a quad bike. There is even a network of zip wires that you can harness yourself to for aerial travel through the trees. A ten pin bowling alley or a day on a go-karting track will encourage the competitive spirit, and to finish off the day a few games of poker or roulette in Chamonix's majestic casino should send you to bed spent.
