Neighbouring resorts
Courmayeur
The resort sitting, in Italy, at the foot of the southern face of Mont Blanc is only 30 minutes away by car through the Mont Blanc tunnel. It has over 100 kms of piste with some excellent off piste runs through the trees. We regularly ski Courmayeur throughout the winter and will happily arrange a trip for a group. Needless to say the food is amazing both on and off the mountain. It is a great throw away line at a dinner party to say you went to Italy for lunch.
Megeve - St.Gervais
These two towns sit on the Western side on Mt Blanc and offer great intermediate skiing. Megeve is very much the 'old money' resort of the French Alps and boasts the most Michelin star restaurants in the Alps. We tend to ski here on bad weather days as it is lower down with some great tree lined runs.
Les Contamines
The last of the Mont Banc resorts is hidden at the end of a valley reached via Megeve/St.Gervais. Les Contamines offers fantastic skiing for advanced skiers, although it really requires a guide to find the best of them. Beginners and intermediates can also keep themselves amused with some 24 lifts and 44 runs.
Flaine
Flaine is often known for it's 'not so pretty' town centre and not for its excellent skiing. It is part of a ski area known as the Grand Massif with links to Samoens, Morrillon and Les Carroz. It's 267 kms of piste offer something for everyone.
Verbier
Verbier is a world class resort with a reputation for great off piste skiing and a full on party atmosphere. Make sure your credit card is ready for as much action as you and in one hour you can be in the major resort of the 'Four valleys'.
